Swim Across America Endurance Challenge
Swim Across America Gators Team Website
For several years now the Gators have partnered with Swim Across America (SAA) and joined teams across the metro area and the nation, as well as Olympic athletes to help raise money for cancer research at Children's Hospital of Colorado. Please see the link above for additional information about SAA and how to participate. This document explains what SAA is and how the Gators partner with the organization. You can visit our team SAA website to get started. When you register, but sure to click "join a team" and find the Governor's Ranch Gators. Please know that all team members are welcome to join the Endurance Challenge and participation in fundraising is never required.
On Tuesday, July 7th each practice group will swim for one hour. During that hour, each athlete completes as many lengths of the pool as possible.
White Group: 6:45-7:45 swim (11+)
Purple Group: 7:45-8:30 swim (8 & U )
Green Group: 8:30-9:30 swim (9-10 )
After swimming everyone is invited to enjoy a pancake breakfast at the Flippin Flapjacks food truck. The cost of the breakfast is $6 per person. All family members are also welcome to join us. Please use the RSVP found on the front page of our website to RSVP. You can pay via Venmo by sending it to Courtney Oltman @Courtney-Oltman-1 or bring cash the day of the event.
