Endurance Challenge and Swim Across America
Hello Team!
Next Wednesday is our Endurance Challenge. In the past we have used it to challenge each other to see how many laps everyone can swim in one hour. This year we have an opportunity to give our laps special meaning. We have joined Swim Across America (SAA) Denver to help raise money for Children's Hospital Colorado. Swim Across America joins U.S. Olympic swimmers, teams, and individuals across our nation to raise money for cancer research. The money raised by events in Denver will go to help fund two research projects at the Children's Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. This is a wonderful chance for the Gators to give back to others.
Participation is easy. Simply click on the link below to visit our team's Swim Across America site. There you can register and get your own page to send to friends and family. Anyone is able to donate online. If each of our team members raise just $25 we can raise over $3,000 for cancer research. SAA also gives every swimmer who participates a Swim Across America cap and tattoos! Raise the amounts below and receive great SAA items for your efforts!
- $50 - Lanyards
- $100 - SAA t-shirt and SAA sunglasses (plus $50 incentive award)
- Top 3 fund raisers get a SAA towel plus $100 incentives
Fundraising is voluntary. Every team member can participate in the Endurance Challenge regardless of whether they join the SAA event.
