Hello Potential Gator Swim Team Families!

Registration for the Governor’s Ranch Gators Swim Team is just around the corner! This email contains a lot of information so please read through to the end!

SUMMER TEAM REGISTRATION DETAILS/INSTRUCTIONS- Will be in person on Sunday, March 6th from 6:30 - 8:00pm at the Governor’s Ranch Clubhouse (9050 W Prentice Ave, Littleton 80123). At that time you will sign a couple participation forms and drop off a Volunteer Deposit Check for $200/family. Also, Out of Breath Sports will be there for team and fan apparel sizing and ordering.

Prior to the in person registration, the online portion of registration will open up on Sunday, February 27th on our website: gvrgators.swimtopia.com. To register…Click on the “Register Now” button in the top right corner (not visible until 2/27). You will then see 2 registration forms. Please select the top one for registration for the summer team +/- the preseason swim/conditioning clinic. If you are a returning family, login with your ID and password from last year and then most of your data will auto-populate. If you are a new family, you will be prompted to set up a new account.

COST - Governor’s Ranch Resident - $210/1st & 2nd swimmer

                                                             $160/each add’l swimmer

           - Non-Gov Ranch Resident - $235/1st & 2nd swimmer

                                                         $185/each add’l swimmer

PAYMENT - Payment will be collected at the time of the online portion of registration with either a credit or debit card. If you are unable to do this, please contact Coach Meagan at [email protected] or Jillian Benson (Board President) at [email protected].

WAIVERS - When you register, you will be prompted to initial not only our Governors Ranch waiver, but the supplied waivers for some of the teams in our South Jeffco Swim League. 

T-SHIRTS FOR TIE-DYING - Near the end of the registration, you will be popped into the “Merchandise” section. We need you to select the t-shirt size for each swimmer from the dropdown menu under “Options” There is no charge for the shirts. They will be provided by the team.

PRESEASON SWIM/CONDITIONING CLINIC - If you would like your swimmer(s) to attend the clinic but are unsure if you want them to join the team, you can sign up for just the clinic through the website also. Cost is $65/swimmer. After selecting “Register Now” (not visible until 2/27), you will see 2 registration forms. The one for the clinic only is the bottom one. This clinic will be held at the Ridge Rec Center (6613 S Ward St, Littleton 80127) on consecutive Sundays from April 3rd to May 15th, 2022 (excluding Easter Sunday on April 17th) from 3:30 - 4:30pm.This is reserved for the first 60 athletes.

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS - The meets only happen with help from all the parents!! Since we don't have the meet schedule finalized and we don't know how many swimmers will be on the team, we will figure out volunteer shifts at a later date. The more kids that register, the less shifts each family will be responsible for. In the past, it has been between 4 - 6 shifts/family. Early registration will definitely help us plan accordingly!

We do need to keep our numbers in check per Governor's Ranch HOA requirements (67% of the team must be in the neighborhood, and 33% can be from outside of the neighborhood). We are planning for a regular season but are at the mercy of state & county regulations, as well as HOA policies with regards to numbers and meets and spectators, etc.

TEAM GEAR - As mentioned, Out of Breath Sports will be at Registration Night for team suit and fan apparel fitting/purchase. If you are unable to make it that night but your swimmer needs to be fit for a suit, you can set up an appointment at their store located at 42 E Arapahoe Rd, Littleton, 80122 (303-798-5037). If you wish to purchase a team cap, please contact Coach Meagan at [email protected] or in person at practice. Team suits and caps are not required.

Kid to Kid - Littleton has boys practice jammer swimsuits for sale for $10 apiece. If you wish to purchase one of these, you can go to the store at 8601 W Cross Dr A7.
