Hello Gator Families!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are doing well! With all of this cold and snow, we are starting to dream of summer and getting back in the pool! We wanted to let you know about a few things that are coming up, and some changes we will be making for the 2023 swim season. 

The first thing is that we will be having a New Parent Info Night on February 5th at 6 pm at the Governor's Ranch Clubhouse. We ask that you let any families who might be interested in joining the Gators know about this night so they can come hear about our team. Anyone is welcome to attend and we will have door prizes! 

This year the clinic registration will be separate from the regular season registration. Regular season registration will open on March 5th. Spring clinic registration will open February 5th. There are 65 clinic slots. Once the first 65 slots are filled, a waitlist will be started for anyone still wishing to join the clinic. Please sign up early to reserve your spot! 

In addition, you may remember that our bylaws require that a swimmer be able to swim 25 meters (one length of the pool) unassisted using any stroke. Due to pool space limitations this requirement will be enforced for the 2023 season. All new and returning 8 & under swimmers must complete an assessment. We are going to be holding assessments on the first day of the clinic (April 2nd), and the last day of the clinic (May 14th). If you are a family who will need to do assessments we want to ask you to attend either, or both, of these days. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Coach Meagan.
