Hello Gators! 

Happy Tuesday.  We had a great practice today.  This email contains a lot of information about all the exciting things coming up in the next few weeks.  Please read all the way through so you don't miss out on any of the fun! 

PICTURE DAY - Thursday, June 25th during practice times

Schedule:

6:45-8 White Group practice

7:45 All other swimmers arrive at the pool for team photo

8-8:45 Purple Practice, all other swimmers take individual and sibling photos

8:45-9:45 Green Practice, Purple group takes individual and sibling photos

Relay Meet 

The relay meet is an old team tradition that we are bringing back this season. It will take place during practice on Tuesday, June 30th.  All swimmers will arrive at 7 am for warm-up and the meet will conclude no later than 9:45 am.  Swim Tech and Platte Canyon will be joining us for this fun meet.  There are all kinds of non-regulation relays including a crescendo, a 50 IM relay, and Back/Breast.  Rather than choosing events, please simply mark whether your athlete(s) will be attending. 

July 4th Weekend

There will be no practice on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.  Please have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends.  See you at the neighborhood parade!

Swim Across America Endurance Challenge and Pancake Breakfast

For several years now the Gators have partnered with Swim Across America (SAA) to help raise money for cancer research at Children's Hospital of Colorado.   Please see the link above for additional information about SAA.

On Tuesday, July 7th each practice group will swim for one hour.  During that hour, each athlete completes as many lengths of the pool as possible. 

White Group: 6:30-7:30 swim

Purple Group: 7:30-8:30 swim

Green Group: 8:30-9:30 swim

After swimming everyone is invited to enjoy a pancake breakfast at the Flippin Flapjacks food truck.  The cost of the breakfast is $6 per person.  All family members are also welcome to join us.  Please use the RSVP found on the front page of our website to RSVP.  You can pay via Venmo by sending it to Courtney Oltman @Courtney-Oltman-1 or bring cash the day of the event.  

Team Day at Water World 

The Gators will be going to Water World on Monday, July 13th.  There will be no practice on this date.  Discount tickets can be purchased through our website under the "Resources" tab.  Tickets may be purchased for any day the park is open and you may purchase tickets for non-team members.  Please remember, each family is responsible for their own children.  The coaches will be there to enjoy time with the team, but they are not "on duty" that day.
